Kid is still under the weather, so I'm not giving new schoolwork, but she's nervous about the math in her physics homework for Yurt School, which is due tomorrow. Unfortunately, her copy of the physics textbook is only due to arrive today, having been sent, evidently, on the slow boat from Singapore. Miss J wanted a snack. I listed some garden vegetables, and she brightened at the mention of zucchini. We selected the big slightly overgrown one, and I showed her how to cut it off the plant. She peeled it and ate it raw (with a little help from dad).
